A distinctive country house and three pretty cottages in one and a half acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, right in the centre of the village. The location couldn’t be better! If relaxation is on your mind or if water sports float your boat – you will find it right here. Our accommodation has undergone an expansive, stylish refurbishment of the highest standard to create a unique rural destination offering our guests the perfect location for a weekend getaway or a week-long staycation.

Our 4/5* luxury self-catering accommodation is a location where small or large groups can gather to celebrate an occasion or hold an event.

The three beautiful cottages can accommodate four guests each while our two spacious apartments can accommodate up to six guests.

The stunning main house incorporates the two apartments and can be configured to accommodate up to 18 guests.

The main kitchen will suit all your culinary needs and all guests can dine together in the Orangerie. There are three further reception rooms – the library has a large smart TV to occupy little ones and older ones too – particularly during the rugby season or on a chilly evening. Log burning stoves add a cosy glow adding to the ‘home from home’ atmosphere.

On warmer evenings – our large decking area to the rear of the main house is all ready for your arrival, overlooking our heritage apple trees – with a path to our new games room (The Hen House) where battles can commence over the foosball and pool tables. The Hen House is available to all guests staying at the River Run.

The spacious River View apartment is located within the Main House with own front door access from the car park/forecourt area.

The apartment is spacious and can accommodate six guests, bedroom 1 has three single beds (or can be configured as one single plus one super king) and bedroom 2 has the option of twin beds or, again, a super king bed. Both bedrooms are en-suite with walk-in power showers and vanity basins.

Towels and Egyptian cotton bed linen will be provided.

The River View Apartment has an external balcony overlooking the gardens and the surrounding countryside.

The kitchen/living/dining rooms have been re-designed bespoke kitchens and furniture, fitted with a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, oven, induction hob, microwave oven, washer/dryer, toaster, kettle and Nespresso machine. There is a Smart TV with all terrestrial channels and a beautiful log-burning stove should you opt for a cosy evening indoors.

The Hen House games room is within the grounds to keep young guests occupied. There is a large car parking area to the front of River Run House & Cottages. Our on-site office is within the grounds should you have any queries during your stay.
